I decided to launch this site as a means of communicating directly with the citizens of Venice during the current election period. However, I intend to continue to use it after the campaign is over as a way to maintain an open dialogue about issues, events, ideas and news. I welcome any suggestions and I look forward to meeting as many fellow Venetians as I can in the days ahead.
